depth finders

suffice it to say there have been many questions on which units are the best depth/fish finder, however my question relates to which units best ID fish at shallows depths of 20-8 ft,. I realize that the cone width at shallow depths is small, but do some units do better than others?

I use the Z160 and have excellent readings in shallow depths.
