Will I need anything other than my drivers lic. to purchase a Canadian Fishing Lic? Also, can you tell me the cost of the Canadian Lic's?
Thanks!

In my experience they just ask for your address and whatever, a drivers license is sufficient.

In Ontario a Driver Lic. or a State issued photo ID is all that is required.'

Juls, depends on which "Canadian" license you want. :-) If Ontario, walleye boy has the right place; looks like BE has the Manitoba info., don't know about the others.

I fish in Manitoba several times each year. An annual Non-resident Conservation license is only $22.00 Canadian (apprx $16.00 USA). This is a 'conservation' angling license so you are somewhat restricted as to the number of fish you can keep, but if you are practicing CPR (catch, photo, and release) what diference does it make.

Each providence is different.
If fishing a tournament such as RCL as Juls is probably going to do
it is advised to have a annual licence which allows for more than seven days and who knows maybe Canadian trip in the summer, plus
and more than a conservation limit in the boat. In a tournament dont limit your Pro because of your Licence.

I called at noon today and she had the form faxed to me within an hour. 2002 non-resident license fees are as follows:
Non-resident sport fishing: $58 (Cdn)
Non-resident conservation fishing: $35
Non-resident 7-day sport fishing: $37
Non-resident 7-day conservation fishing: $22
Whitetips,
The Manitoba Conservation Lic is an annual lic. Also, her angling partner will have a lic. If the partner had a conservation lic also they would be allowed a total of 8 fish. Very few tournaments have a limit of 8 fish to weigh.

Her partner is a Pro, he will have an annual, 4 possible days of tournament fishing and 4 to 5 days of prefishing thats nine days.
Annual all the way. This is US/Ontario waters not Manitoba. Juls knows as do others on this board its a great place to fish a stay awhile, plus it can be the first crack at fish for others. If the monies on the line some will get there feel and mechanics down early.
Never bought a conservation licence, Always felt the fee was worth it.
Just thick if your at Port Clinton and want to run to the Canadian side for Smallmouths during the summer or Sault Ste Marie in the Fall.
I understand your view but way limit your purchase and days when a
fishing for a profit. Write off the expense.

Juls,
You can also order them by phone at 1-800-667-1940 or 705-755-2000. The 800 number was not always attended last year.
