If you go to WC's mainpage, scroll down the menu on the left side, about half way down you will find a link to walleye tourneys. I will be doing my first time tournament on the USFA this June. Quite reasonably priced for getting your feet wet as a first timer.

That's all you really need to know. Team walleye is going well in some states, but very poorly here in Iowa. They have a new director now who seems like he's a good guy so maybe it will come around.

I've fish the North Dakota USFA team walleye for the past 3 yrs. I don't know about your area. Its a great way to get new ideas and meet new friends, good luck.

USFA Team Walleye is a proven sanctioning body and Iowa definitely is in need of growth, but that is to a new Tourney Competitors advantage since smaller fields give you a great chance at qualifying for nationals. Believe me It is an awesome experience to walk away from the national championship with a brand new Ranger Boat. Come grow with us you won't be disappointed.
