It used to be that a full days' posts were on page one, however today for example the posts and replys go are clear back to the bottum of page 3. This is great for the site and indicates a lot of usage and a lot of diversity of subject material, however it is easy to miss a subject of interest if you don't really go back and check what was posted since the last time you logged on. Is there a way of compressing more on one page that you scroll down without having to change the present easy to read and reply format?

If you hit the little "plus" icon just left of the "discussion topic" heading at the top of the threads it will compress or expand the threads for easier or more detailed postings. I think you see more posts because of the time of year and because more people are interacting rather than sitting on their hands. Great for everyone involved especially Mr. Golden.

Yes!!! I was all the way back to page 5 today to catch up on some of the topics! Don't remember if I've ever seen it fill up and flow so fast before. Makes me want to make sure I check in more often so I don't miss something good.

Are you people using the time stamp mark so you can keep track of the posts that have new additions to them and not bother with the posts that have no new replies. I thought this was on every members icon bar but you have to mark it as yes in the profile for a member.
I usually check twice a day except when I'm gone fishing I have the priveledge from work and now that I formatted my puter I can surf from home.
Thanks Scott

I think it's a combination of things. First, this site just keeps getting bigger and better...kudos to Scott and the staff. Second, there's ice but not enough to fish on and I know that it's driving me nuts and probably others. I find myself checking messages 8-10 times a day. It's the only way to keep up with things.

Ditto for me. It just got warm and rained here in New York so what ice we had is taking a beating.

Fishing stew and a good batch of it at that! Ice? I am trying to lauch the boat on the Detroit tommorrow and nobody can tell me what ramps are not "closed" upriver. Fisher people make this site, especially when their not fishing and afterwards.
