I'm looking for any comments on Fisher Boats. I'm looking at the model 16 pro Avenger SC with a 90merc and 6 horse 4 stroke kicker.

Search the archives. There are plenty of comments on Fisher.
Good Luck!
What things about the boat do you like? Lots of boat company's make a great boat inn the same size. Crestliner has a great line of 16' boats that are all welded and have a 20 year warranty on the hull of the boat. 100% non pro-rated

I just bought a used 1998 14' Fisher Avenger, the 14 footer is a riveted boat, not welded. This package sells new with a 25 Merc for about $5700.00, so I would think it's an entry level boat, not top shelf. I do think that what I see of my boat is good quality and craftsmanship. No rough edges, excellent seats and pedestals, good paint and carpeting. The flashy decal on the side is starting to peel in a couple spots, but that could be from scrapes at the dock. On the Coast Guard plate, it says my boat was built by Tracker Marine. I don't know if they all are or just the 14 footer riveted model.

The last I knew Fisher is part of the boat group owned by Mr. Morris.
