My wife has been fighting brest cancer for about 1 1/2 yr now and she is going in on Tuesday to have a mastectomy on both breasts we need your prayers for a speedy and compleat recovery . Her name is Brenda so please keep us in your prayers . Thanks Scott ( The Smalleye )

Scott, my wife went thru this 7 years ago and is doing fine. Kept the faith and give Brenda all the support you can.

Hey, Smalleye, my wife underwent a radical mastectomy about six years ago. She is thriving at 65 years, full of vim, vigor and vitality although at times edgy when I fish ten days in a row. Never the less, our prayers are with you. Jigger

My sister just went through this, only she did not have time to think about it. She had the surgary the same day she went to the Dr.
It's not an easy road to travel, but one that can be passed.
I do pray for you and your wife, and wish you all the best for many many years to come.

nothing can be more important than having friends and family supporting someone in times when there needed, will be asking the big guy up there to be with you guys and give ya the strength to get through this and a speedy rec. know that nothing is more spiecal than your loved ones. take care of her and she will take care of you !

Brenda the power of prayer is great, I had my run in with cancer last spring and by the Grace of God and the prayers from many, Im still going strong.

Scott, my mother went through this in the late 70's...the procedures have improved dramatically and the followup for patients is much more oriented toward preventing reoccurrence of the cancer. Our family's prayers are with yours and your many friends here on Walleye Central.

I work with a woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer in november and had a masectomy in December. She is already back to work part-time. She's had to have chemotherapy, but they give her some kind of medication that keeps her from getting sick. Keep your chin up, things will get better. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will be praying for you and Brenda. I know what you are going through. My wife had a bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer 3 years ago. She is doing great now with no evidence of the cancer. Breast cancer treatments are gettng better and new drugs are being developed to fight this disease. There is hope. You will be in my prayers. Bruce Dahl, MD

Hey Steve,
Doin' just fine..And thanks for keeping me on your list..Only trouble I've had is the extra weight I've put on due to the steroids they have me on..Really didn't need an extra 40 lbs. to lug around..LOL Tying my shoes is now a 5 minute ordeal!!PUFF, PANT!!:7
Other than this, I feel great and will hopefully get off the steroids when I go see my endocrinologist in late Fabruary..Keepin' my fingers and toes crossed..

God is able to do what ever we ask and need. Trust him in all that you
