On Fan Outdoors radio show this morning, Rob Drieslan was talking to the MN DNR Fisheries Research manager. He said this about Mille Lacs. With the yellow perch population down and the large quantity of tullibee which died from last summers heat the walleye are now "skinny". I only fished it in July and the fish we caught weren't fat but were very healthy and by no means skinny. This was before the tremendous heat of late July and early August.
What have other people observed that fished it later in the year?
Formerly John in MN
