can anyone out there lead me to a company that sells 3 1/2 - 4 foot medium action rod blanks i dont have much money to spend ,,,,,,,,,Thanks Bernie

Bernie- Check out Cabela's Bargain Cave if you have one near you. I have a couple of thrifty friends that have made some really nice ice rods by purchasing broken long rods. I think they usually average $5 or so. Cut them to length and epoxy on a cork handle.

I have to second what Jim C advises, everytime I'm at the Owatanna store there is a five gallon pail full of rod blanks that would perfectly for ice fishing rods. Usually priced in the 5 dollar range.
