I'm having a tough time getting an accurate reading from my gas gauge. My boat is only one season old and even when I'm stopped in calm waters the gas gauge jumps all over the place. I've talked to the dealer and they claimed that this was normal. Any suggestions ?

I have a '99 Magnum and it does the same when I'm traveling. I usually have to check my gas level when I'm at a complete stop for several minutes, once the gas quits sloshing around. If I do that, I'll usually get a good reading.
I don't depend on the guage for anything but a rough estimate. I carry a 2 gallon extra can full in one of the compartments which is enough to get me home at least.

I have the same boat as you and I have the same problem. The only way I get a true indication on how much fuel I have is to turn on the key when we are not moving. Love the boat!! Hate the gas guage.
