Hey guys. Hearing all about the Cleveland show makes me wonder who will be in my neck of the woods. Anyone know? I am hoping some of the more knowledgeable people on this board will be at one.

Thanks for pointing out that Mark Martin has his own web page, but no thanks for raising my blood pressure with a danged link that would never connect. :-)
The correct link to his page is www.markmartins.com. Don't know why that extra 's' is in there, but it is.

So the Palace is a on? Rumour was that it might not be scheduled.
That's a good thing, The Silverdome is larger and all but 2 is better than one.

Years ago the Expo at the palace was the best show going, but the last 2 or 3 shows I went to at the Palace were very dissapointing to say the least. Most of the dealers have nothing but dusty old leftover crap that they havn`t been able to sell. Watching some of the seminars was like sitting thru someones old slide shows. The prices on merchandise are not any cheaper than regular prices either. I usually go anyway but this year I won`t. I wait till Bass Pro has their annual spring sale to restock my tackle. Hope everyone has good luck at the show.

Dusty old crap youjust can't find anymore, I might be sick but I love it! "Browsed" the Palace during that blizzard like evening. Still smiling. But the show's have been charging more with fewer independent's evey year that's a shame.
Silverdome did have a better show last year.

Czar-
I know what you mean about the merchandise. I did get a deal on a LMS350A once, but other than that, I really dont see many deals that you cant beat somewhere else on sale. Its just fun to go hang out there in the winter, walk around (seems like you always bump into someone you know!). I like to collect the brouchures, too. Drive my wife crazy when I bring all that crap home!!
Gotta get those roasted cinnimon almonds, too!
(Boy I REALLY need to get out of the house) LOL
