View Full Version : Leech Lake resorts
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a resort to stay on Leech Lake. We will be staying the 3rd week of June. We have two small children and will be staying with another couple that has a 4 year old. We would like it to be a quality resort with a good beach and is relatively close to some good walleye and Muskie spots. It would also be cool if the kids could catch panfish of the dock? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe

when i fish a leech lake tournament, i stay at stony point resort. they have great cabins, a nice harbor and most importantly, are very centrally located on the lake with good fishing close by. i'll just bet the kids could catch small fish in the harbor too. nice people own the place and have for over 20 years. have fun...

You can also try www.sugarpoint.com greatlocation, nice cabins, and also a indoor/outdoor pool for the kids if the lake is to cold or rough. They have anything that you would need right there.

We’ve been going to http://www.brindleysharbor.com/ for the last 5 years and our whole family can highly recommend this resort.
Lot’s of families in the 3rd week of June, excellent location, free fish cleaning, two fishing docks, really nice cabins, sand beach, excellent rental boats, great club house with games for the kids, etc.
Anyone alse have any suggestions? Joe
IMHO the best place for a family is Baileys Resort(baileysresort.com).
Located in sheltered Kabekona Bay on the west end of Leech Lake.
Huge sandy beach, 15' Aqua-Jump water trampoline, paddle boats, etc.
Give Dana or Cindy Pitt a call if you need more details.
Brindleys Harbor gets my vote. Nice accomdations, service and people.
Try www.brindleysharbor.com for a very nice and informative web site.

Adventure North resort is a good resort to look into. They run the leech lake guide coalition and has a harbor off of pine point and all of the boat slips are covered. This is a first rate resort.

I second Huddle,s. My wife and I stayed there last year. Lot of activities for kids:i.e pool, playground. The kids can catch fish right in the boat harbor.
