Keep an eye out on Ebay. Cabela's changed their design, and had them on Clearance for quite a while at their retail stores and online. I purchased several to go with what I already had. They were like $17 each. The last that I checked they were no longer available on Cabelas site. I noticed some of them were showing up on ebay. I really have liked these rods, and I have a dozen of the Gary Roaches too. The Berkleys are a little lighter backbone than the Cabela's version that I use for Salmon high lead core setups.

The best deal on seen on telescopers are Gander Series Planer Board rods, I use them and for 29.99 with a two year warrenty you can't go wrong, they fit nice into the rod locker of my 621 without breaking them down, I have caught many steelies and huge Erie walleye on them, they work great. I have broken more than I have and they take them back no questions asked as long as you have your reciept, which I cherish LOL.
