Just wondering about theese, how well do the pull behind a sled? how deep is the sled? Will it fit 3 full grown guys instead of 2? thanks

I just bought a Frabill XLT and love it...I did modify mine though as the seat just causes problems and really didn't provide much back support anyways...I am a big guy and two of us fit comfortably....Can spear out of it well also...I do not think you can get three guys in it(no elbow room) The seat included only has two spots...I removed it, attached a board and stapled carpet to it...Pulls great...lots of storage room...If you send me an email at saker@tir.com I will email some pics of the shanty in use...Mark

Slick I still think the Frabill SOLO is the ice boat for you. It is on sale now at Fleet, $200, good deal.

Oh Joy, A SALE!

:D

The SOLO is full of good features and still light enough to be handy and not work to drag. The seat set up if very comfortable and easy on the back. Once you get old beat up like me you will appreciate that a bit more. If I knew now what I didn't know then I would have been easier on myself Eh.

;)

The Winnie is ok, but not as handy in many ways by the looks of it. I have not fished in one yet so this is based on my perception and not hands on experience, take that for what it's worth.

For the price the SOLO would be my pick from the crop of new 1 man shacks.

Hey, thanks for the info guys! I would get a Solo but my Dad,Bro, and me fish together often. Maybe I can still talk him into getting the Ranger XLT. How would you guys compare the tarp material of a Frabill compared to "The winnie?"
