Detriot Lakes Area

I will be in the Detriot Lake area this weekend and was wondering if anyone has any tips on some lakes that fish are biting? Just want to catch some fish. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Big Pine and Otter Tail are always real good. Lots of houses too that will mark the quality humps. Great numbers of smaller eyes should provide good action.

If things dont cool down you might not be able to fish anywhere. If the ice breaks up in St Clair the Detroit River will be off limits!!!!! But if the river is clear the fish are there. Try light slip bobbers rigged with tear drops baited with minnows for pike and perch. Hit the shallow bays in the southern part of the river by Lake Erie. Again beware of ice flows!!!!!! Use extreme caution!!!!!!
