Tom just wondered why walkers? I have been thinking of getting either scotty or cannon electrics. Is there somehting that makes the walkers better for you? This is not a bash at all just trying to edjubacaite myself befor spending a grand.

my Walker electics are 29 years old and the only thing I have replaced is a counter that i dropped a cannonball on and the boom ends on both with the updated versions.
maybe thats why ;)

My good buddy, AL Johnson, let me borrow his for a weekend trip to Ontario for Salmon. I really like them. Brian Thomas has them too and really likes them. I would consider other brands but, I just thought I would go with what I know.
I think I may have been too ambitious with asking for two downriggers for $250.00 or less. Does anyone out there have one for sale.
