Looking for a nice clean, cottage on an upper peninesula lake for summer rental. I am taking the wife, so i need a place that is nice, so i don't mind paying more for a nicer cabin. Also would prefer eastern or central u.p., and a larger lake. Thanks, tailgunner.

I own Tahquamenon Outfitters, but we don't have what you are looking for. Look in the Curtis area on Manistique Lakes. Hundreds of resorts.

Often overlooked is the Bay Mills Casino in Brimley. On Brimley Bay, great walleye fishing and you can launch your boat right there. Cheap prices for rooms and meals, excellent golf and close to the Soo, Tahq. Falls, Mack. Island and such.

If you are in the area, stop and have dinner at the Tahquamenon Hotel in Hulbert, MI (if we are still in business after a year of no snow so far). We also have great fishing on the scenic Tahquamenon, but mostly hard to catch Pike, musky and walleye.

Take a look at www.sallmarresort.com They are located on Little Bay de Noc in Rapid River. Great hosts, great fishing, and great prices. I stay there several times through out the year, and never heard a complaint from any guests there with me.

Curtis is a great place also. Don't know what specific places, but there are tons to choose from!!
