Looking for recommendations on renting a cottage on Chatauqua Lake
from July 10th through the 14th. Will be fishing the WPA walleye
tourney on the 14th and want to maximize my time on the water. Thanks.

Eyespy.. Try the Redwood Ranch. Bait, tackle and private mooring. It's about a 5 minute boat ride to the Pewndagast launch. 716-386-4275
Will you be fishing the one on May 5th? I will be there for that one but will miss the July tournament as we fish the Amara-Can in Dunkirk (Erie)on that date.
I have some other connections for Chautauqua lodging if you need them but Redwood would do you best.
Where can I get a WPA schedule. What other tourney's will be on Chautauqua this year?

Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Association will be holding 4 tournaments. 2 on Kinzua and 2 on Chautauqua. There used to be 2 USFA tourneys there when there used to be a USFA. Contact Charlie Brant for applications/information. 814-757-9514 or walleye5@penn.com
Charlie was the former director of the Tri State USFA so they know tournaments. They will payout 80%, a $80 fee per team entry plus membership of $35 annualy.

I agree Redwood is a good choice. The Western Pennsylvania Anglers web site will be updated very soon and you will be able to get more info then. As always the WPA will anounce special discounts for all it's anglers prior to the tournament. Discounts on rooms food, tackel shops etc as well as info on the rules meeting and such. Feel free to e mail me for more info at westernpaanglers@western-pa-anglers.com or through the web site.
Thanks,

Dave.. think I may have confused the issue on this thread! I thought they were asking about the Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Club.
Looks like 2 different walleye tournaments going there on the same day..that ought to be interesting! Hope it won't be out of the same launch :-(
Just a suggestion, it would be nice with so few tournaments through the NY area if they could work the clubs together and not hit the same dates. There is also a tournament going out of Dunkirk on the same dates!
