I found some of the old style shallo-sticks in a clearance bin. Has anyone had any luck with these? They look like the old AJ's but only have 2 hooks and are a little thicker. Are they worth picking up?

The shallow sticks are great baits, but you have to realize what they do. These baits will only dive about 18 inches no matter how much line you let out. They are great for down rigging and three ways as well as casting to very shallow fish. The action is great and they are a part of my walleye arsenal.

Good luck and keep the line tight,

Also work great on top of reefs. Pulling them in 3-4 ft of water. Nice to have a big lure you can take shallow.
