Check out http://www.dhmo.org to see what you can do to protect yourself against this deadly substance. Looks like it is getting into the fish, too. Why can't something be done? m

Yeah, this was a cute scare a few years ago when the chain letters were swirling around about this and that. I remember the one about the guy who woke up in his bath tub filled with ice and a note telling him to call 911...one of his organs had been removed. That was a good one.

Anyway, thanks Mikie for showing us what some people like to do with all that spare time. ;-)

It all begins and ends at the water's edge...

HA. Okay if Hydrogen Peroxide is H2O2, the DHMO would be H2O right? That's hilarious. However, I'm just glad to see these people are spending their time maintaining such a website to fool people, since the alternative is probably creating and sending viruses. Good for them.

dihydrogen = H2
monoxide = O

H2O, I protect myself with a life vest!

I saw it was in baby food too, looks like I'll have to quit feeding him. Too funny.

No, no, the only serious issue here was someone (wish I knew who) that had WAYYYY too much time on their hands. Sure looks convincing, though, with the logos and all. Had this forwarded to me and hoped I could get a few nibbles from you good folks. Could this really be all there is to that PETA bunch? Nah, we couldn't be that lucky. m

I sent it to one of our environmental dept personel just to see if they can figure it out.
I added the question "Do we use or produce this chemical anywhere in the refinery?" I can't wait for the reply to see if they actually look it up in there list of chemicals or figure it out.
