Just had my LPG 2000 installed on my boat. It works great at slow speeds, but cuts out whenever I travel over 10 mph. Any advice to correct this would be appreciated!

sounds like the tranducer is loosing contact with the water. Check the mounting location. Maybe drop it down a little or slope the heel down 1/8". Great unit.

I own one two great detail at lower speeds but I lose bottom at anything over 30 mph. I lose even the digital readout. Have 3 friends with the unit all having the same problem. I'm still moving mine around hoping to find the right spot. Zercoms homepage says you should get a reading at 60 mph, I'm beginning to wonder about that.

I have a new LPG 2000. Been out 5 times with it since last week. I also lose the digital readout at speeds over 25mph. The bottom still reads but skips some at WOT (about 32mph). When WOT the chart speed slows up to a crawl I think due to an inconsistent bottom reading. Tonight I moved the transducer which is setting in water in the bilge of my glass boat, hoping to solve the problem. This unit is awesome at speeds under 15mph. I've gotten perfect fish arches 5 feet down in 8 feet of water. The bottom detail and resolution are outstanding.

I have the same problem with mine. I've moved it twice now, and adjusted the height 3 or 4 times in each place, along with the angle. I had it too low the last time, throwing a rooster tail 5 ft. in the air. While looking over the transom at mid speed, I noticed that 1/2 of the transducer is out of the water due to the slope of the hull on my tyee. I had the transducer level with the ground, now I think I will move it to one side, so rather than showing fish directly under the boat, it will be more towards the drivers side. If that doesn't work, I may try moving it all the way to the starboard side where the bottom of the hull is level.
Like one post said, the arches are awesome, I was marking fish today in 10' of stained water, with perfect arches. I also programmed the graph with the extra set-up features from the zercom website, worked fine.
Will post at a later date with my results.

I'm just curious what features you were able to get from the zercom website. I tried to find the info on the zercom page but couldn't find it. Thanks, any information will be appreciated.

When you get the LPG 2000 picture, click on the top botton, A screen will come up that gives you "super user" techniques. Sounds like they may need to develope a skimmer transducer for this unit.

Thanks for all the feedback! I've advised Zercom's technical support group to view this posting - hopefully they'll come back with a remedy.
Tight lines!

I was out with my LPG 2000 again today. Still no digital readout above 25 mph. I did get a better bottom reading at WOT after moving the transducer. I also went in and played with the advanced user settings. I have a Lowrance x-55 side by side (transducers also) with the LPG 2000. The LPG really shows way more bottom detail and fish. It's interesting to watch them both. I do get some interference at times where the LPG scrambles the x-55. 200kHz and 192kHz too close together. I also have a Zercom clearwater classic at 200kHz in the front and that gets some interference as well from both the LPG and x-55. I do get some interference from my 60hp Merc on the LPG at 4000 rpms and above.

I've started to trade E-mails with zercom on this to sounds like everbody has the same problem. I agree at low speeds this unit is great. I'll let you know if they come up with anything
