I have not fished the minnesota division but I have fished the wisconsin/U.P. division the last 2 years and I think they are the best run small tournament out there. The payout is great and they are a real class act. I would reccomend fishing them next year. Good luck!

Yes Jigmeister I fished the team walleye trail in MN the past 2 years, but since they are not around I have to find a new trail.

Welcome aboard! You'll find some good fishermen here. Hope to meet you ang if you fish the WWA.
We will fish some of the WWA but will also fish the MTT trail. The MTT should be a great one. Mike and Renee run some of the best tournaments around.

we fished the mn wwa last year and was impressed with the local directors. but i did have issue with the way it was run when it came to natl's. there wasn't a date announced until about 5 weeks before and now that mn has lost their directors we won't fish it again this year. we're deciding on one of the afore mentioned circuits.( sorry i tried not to mention them)

The dates were posted way earlier than that and had been posted on the web. It was an issue of getting the location finalized which was supposed to been done in January. Thats what happens when people keep sending you back and forth. As for the championship its self it was ran really well by Steve and Terry. Jim Kalkofen was a pleasant surprise.

The dates for the nationals were on the the flyers when they were sent out the first week of January 2001. I know of several people that knew of the championship site back as far as febuary. Let the old horse rest in peace....Amen.

The WWA has been growing since birth, I personally don't see a loss at losing a fisherman or a director for any reason other than personal gain on that party's behalf. People come and they go, and they can be replaced. It is not the end of the road, and their are plenty people out their willing and waiting to do the job if not better.
When I first posted this question I was just looking for some feedback, I di not mean to start a controversy. Does anyone have any info about the WWA championship for 2002.
