First, being a guide on lake McConaughy, I would like to throw my hat into the ring, I have been guiding their for over many years, and have grown up on the lake so I know alot about it. I have many references, and brochures that I could send to you, otherwise if you are in NE, I will be at the Omaha Sports Show starting Feb 1st thru the 3rd, and would be glad to visit with you then, if not I will include my contact info below.
Secondly, being a Director for the Nebraska Outfitters and Guides Association, I can sure help you with some other guides in the area or any other related questions you may have, just let me know.
Hope this helps!!

Hello, I may be interested in a guided trip on Big Mac also. How early do you start fishing McConaughy? Are you going to be at the Denver sport show next week? Is anyone fishing up there now from a boat?
Thanks

I usually start fishing right after ice out, however these are just personal trips that I take. I start guiding usually in April or May, it depends on the weather, I try to maximize my clients chances of quality and quantity Walleyes fishing, so sometimes it is April and sometimes it is May, but I dont start until I know the fishing will be good. I will not be in Denver this year, but I would be glad to send you some info, just let me know. There really is no one fishing from a boat right now, there is some open water and some is froze, the west end is froze up, around the dam is not.
Here is my e mail, if you would like some info, let me know your address, and I will send you a brochure.
Thanks
