I have heard that Rapala has sold out to a company in China. I was wondering if there was any truth to that or if it was just a rumor started up to get people riled up.

One other question.who in the world would change a whole line of lures(storm)that is a proven producer of fish and who would recommend the changes made to these lures.I don't believe the "pro's" recommended these changes.Just my 2cents and apparentlly many others by the prices generated on e-bay for these lures.

If you do a search on the general discussion board you'll find these topics have been debated in the recent past.

Also, my opinion on Storm and Rapala changing the lures is this, they own the company. I too liked the original Storm lures, but have been doing well with the new versions.

There are so many lures that will catch fish, I see a company doing things to lure lines all the time. I do not like some of them, some of them I do like.

I voice my opinion to the mfr's when I can but will ultimately have to accept their decisions, or find a different lure to use. But give some of the new stuff a chance.
