I'm interested in hearing about your favorite crankbaits for Lake McConaughy, including color, size and time of year.

No doubt, Reef Runners. I have caught my best fish on Reef Runner at Big Mac and many tournaments have been won there with Reef Runners.

Last fall the NWA tournament was won on Grey Ghost. My favorite color there is Cheap Sunglasses. Depends on sunlight. I have done well on the Reef Runners, Deep Little Rippers and Rip Sticks. In the summer, when the alewife are in open water, run your rip sticks up high. My biggest fish last year, a 32 2/4, came on a Blue Hawaiian Rip Stick '100 back in 70 foot of water.

Good luck this year!!

Hi Stizo,
Don't forget chicken pox at Big Mack. Seemed like the more orange or red out there the better.
The new Chrome and Gold Eriedescents outta kick some serious tail out there this year too.
Don't forget where to get'em

Hey Al,

Any plans on color variations on the Fergie Spoon for next year? What's the best selling color?

Love your products (new paint on the Fergies is fantastic).

Thanks.

if you plan on doing the dam thing at night--Don't forget #9 Shallow shad raps. My personal favorites are clown and shad pattern when the moon is up, and black/gold in the dark.

Please respect this fishery! I saw too many big fish on the cleaning table the last few years. It really made me sick to my stomach.

Will probably stay with the new colors we brought out last year. The gold plated and nickle plated additions are great performers. With the improvements to the painting on the white and chartreuse, the fish have given us the ok to stay the course.
We could bring out some new colors to catch the fishermen but why,
we have improved the weight and balance of the bait, added premium
hooks and glass & brass.
Now we'll just have to see how they are accepted.
They we hot at Merritt last year.
