UN and gun control

While I believe that this site first and foremost should be dedidcated to topics dealing with fishing, I have received a real education in the latest discussions about General Mills, Jeep and PETA. I was not aware of all the anti hunting/fishing activities nor the guises under which they present themselves. However, we should leave out the bantering among individuals, you can e-mail each other direct.
In regard to these discussion, I was appalled to find out,that as you enter the UN there is a display of a hugh single six revolver,which has its barrel twisted in a knot, to signify gun control. I find this almost unbelievable. I do not think we should tolerate this display and we all should contact our representatives in Congress to have the display removed.

Beware of the U.N at all cost. They are nothing more than a stepping stone toward the "new world order" in which there is one world government, one world currency, a cashless society and many other freedom robbing eventualities. I listened to a guy who spent 33 years working for the BBC talk about the UN and he even had a copy of there handbook. By the time I was done listening to the extremely educated fellow I had a new frame of reference for the UN let me tell you. An unarmed public will never resist. Think we are too civilized for that? Charlton Heston doesnt and 30 years ago he was an anti-gun demonstrator. I am a Canadian and I think your NRA has the right idea. Keep them arguing over para-military weapons as long as you can because it keeps the issue of hunting arms at an arms length. No pun intended.

Bantering between individuals about the subject thread is the point of a message board. Bantering between friends, in a thread, off the topic at hand should be taken to e mail. This is a message board, what do you think that means?

The UN's agenda = Socialist agenda with that whole group in charge. Again they what the POWER. The problem is, too many Mother earth/No guns/Peace and love and flowers types will let them. That's 1/3 of the USA .The other 1/3 couldn't care and will let them, through ignorance. The last 1/3 will not have the backing to stop it.
