Jig & twister color combinations

I heard many different suggestions for which colors of jigs and tails to use in different situations (for Walleye of course), any suggestions on which colors work best for varying situations/light consitions? And Is a Glow jig/tail better?

This season I've fishing the heck of purple 3/8 oz. heads with silk chartreuse tails. Been working great in stained and clear water. Previous seasons I really liked an orange/green chartreuse head with silk chartreuse tails. However, I am sure that there will be lots of opinions on this one.

Firetiger Head/Yellow Chartreuse Body. When things get tough, Pink Head/White Body. Be aware, every river system seems to have it's favorite colors, sizes and often jigging techniques that work best.
