looking for info on these seat bases. I am intrested in purchasing a pair for 619 ranger and wanted to know how well they function and if the size of a person affects the way they work? when installed can they turn and face the rear of the boat while trolling and still feel ok. how much height will I gain when installed? or if anyone has used any other product that will improve ride would be great! thanks for any help.

The products page has some info and their web site. There are low profile bases available to minimize the heighth issue. Yes you can still slide and turn the seats. The Gorilla Ryde seats will take up to 350, I think.

GREAT PRODUCT, and the main reason I can still fish tournaments with this back.

Glyde Rydes are the best thing in my boat. I have a bad back as well and they work like a dream. They will raise you about 4 to 6 inches depending on what bases you use. I am probally one of the biggest guys on the RCL tour and i use them with no problems. Give either John Estes a call or Cabelas is now carrying them they have them in there catalogs and in the stores.
