I was cheering for the Bears all the way! Too bad. Oh well, they had a great season! Now, I will be back cheering for the Packers. oohhhh, the Packers? Yeah, I know but I am still a central division fan even if my Vikes were next to the toilet this year. Now that we have a head coach with some backbone, LOOK OUT, HERE COME THE VIKESin 2002!

I've always said when it came to sports, if you can't skin it, pluck it or fillet it I just don't care. But I even watched and was pulling for DA-BEARS. To bad, I wished the would have won. Even got to see some of the 2nd came where they were playing in that blizzard. Now that look like fun, until you got hit by someone off the line anyway. I'd venture to bet there are a lot of snowmobilers around here in the mid west that would have loved to see snow fall like that in their back yards. Hutch

Being a Chicago sports fan for over 50 years, you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well, it dropped yesterday and I still have to suffer through the Bulls, Hawks, Sox and Cubs.:(

Suffering through the Hawks???? Where have you been????? The Hawks are playing great for once, right there in the thick of the hunt. And anyway most all WCers have to be cheering atleast a little for the Hawks because of our very own Peluso's great play. With all that GO AVS!!!!!!!!

I'm proud of NE the way they played this year after last years dismal season. GO BRADY BUNCH!!!

Rich.. that game brought back memories! Remember the snow plow clearing a spot for the winning field goal against Miami?? Strange things happen in New England.

I guess you guys haven't heard - they are putting in the new "round robin" tournament this year for the playoffs since the bears lost. Chicago plays Carolina next week.

Kevin, I meant suffering with anxiety waiting for the shoe to drop. Being a Chicago sports fan for so long and seeing all the flops, its inevitable. I'm happy that Mike and the Hawks are doing great and I hope they reach the Stanley Cup, but the season is not over yet.

I guess the Bears true colors came through against a quality opponent. When you have as weak of a schedule as they did, it's easy to see how they lost. During the season they only played three quality teams, The Ravens, Packers(twice), and the 49'ers going 1-3. Wait until next year when they play a first place schedule. I can already hear the whining!

What do you mean BEAT THE VIKES. I would think that you would be greatful that Denny Green decided not to beat the Bears so the fans could finally enjoy a playoff game. So what do the Bears do with the opportunity, play like the Vikes.

Sorry your team had their hat handed to them at the end of the day.

When did Tampa Bay get an offense? Perennial first round playoff losers aren't quality in my book.

when did baltimore get an offense? you obviously don't need one.

And where did Baltimore's defense get them this year in today's whathaveyoudoneformelately NFL? Oh, that's right, it got them a victory over the Bears.

The Bears were not out of that game untill the last Touchdown by the Eagles. A team like the bears doesn't put up big numbers, they just find a way to win. Remember winning is only scoring more then the other team, not dominating the other team and a touchdown is scored in one play. They might have been beat statistically but were not beat mentally untill that last touchdown. Give credit where credit is due for a change geesh.
