My name is Shawn Labat and I have one specific question for the pro's. I have been interested in tournament fishing since I was 16. I have fished a few tournaments since then and my long term goal is to one become a professional. How do I go about becoming one?

A great place to find your answer is to attend all or part of the NPAA conference Sept. 20th -23rd this fall in the Twin Cities. You can interect with veterans and learn what sponsors expect etc. etc.etc.
Join the NPAA....

Good suggestion. I went tot he NPAA website but didn't find any G2 on who, what, where, etc.

Can anyone go to the NPAA convention? I guess I just assumed it was members only. I'd love to go if possible. Any more info on location and times? Thanks.

Steve Here...I'm on the road and at a friends puter.

I assume it would be open to anyone interested in possibly joining NPAA by paying the $25 registration fee. But I don't know for sure....go to the NPAA site and email the office for an answer or call. Maybe look up Deshano's name on the directory and call him direct for the answer.
