The little lady surprised me with a new loomi for my birthday. I
had been hinting at the WRR8400s - a buddy has one I tried and I
really liked the feel. But, she bought the PR8400s IMX... darn
nice rod but I've never fished with one. The rod will be used
exclusively for rigging and drifting. Been reading through the
old posts and many hint the IMX is a bit too much for rigging. Any
input would be great. Thanx in advance

I have both and prefer the PR8400 for rigging. The biggest reason is that I don't like the reel seat on the walleye series, and w/ my PR8400 I tape the reel on. I also think that the IMX is a bit more sensitive, and like the "stiffer" feeling for the heavy weights I typically use. Just my preference.
