has anyone tried calling Cabelas to see when it may be posted?

Well I sure hope they didn't mean Feb. 1st! Some ppl need to schedule for time off at their work. We got the info alot faster for the 2003 tourney. Come on CABELAS! Sometime TODAY would be good! }(

just left a message on Chuck Borchers answering machine at Cabelas asking him if he would please post when announcment will be made. I guess we will see what happens.

Patience is a virtue I seem to have lost today for some reason. I have looked at this post 10 times today alone. Must be I'm a bit anxious.....

You are not the only one. From what we were informed, they were to announce the location on January 1st. They just may stretch it out and make everyone wait till the 5th. Everyone gone for the holidays does not help the sanity in the rest of us.

Even if they are off for the holidays someone should have posted it when they said it would be posted....

Its not so much as getting the time off. We know when the date is.
Its a matter of getting the place so we can get all of the reservations in order. If we go to a well known body of water finding a place to stay ,at a resonable rate, may be difficult. I just wish they would do what they say and announce when they say they are going to announce. We have deadlines they want us to keep, they sould keep theirs.

They announced last years tournament location in mid-December. I don't know where Chris Bahl is getting his info stating that its always been after the 1st of the year. They know where its at, they just need to inform everyone else.

I agree. I knew that the announcement was in Dec. of last year.
12-12 at noon to be exact. They know where it is going to be at.
I dont know what the big deal is. It is just a location of a tournament. All the other big name tournaments are out. Even the not so big. We will just have to wait and see.
