Validating Sponsorships

I'm looking for any information/statistics that would be of benefit in obtaining fishing sponsorships.

Example:
How many people participate in the sport of fishing?
How many impressions does your decaled vehicle make per mile?
How can I impress potential sponsors how their advertising will bring in customers.
Where do I look?
