Skeeter Boats Joins GNWC as Presenting Sponsor

Pine River, MN - Bernie Barringer, president of Fishing Promotions, Inc., and Executive Director of the Gander Mountain Grand National Walleye Cup announced today the signing of Skeeter Boats as the Presenting Sponsor for the GNWC National Championships.
As the Presenting Sponsor, Skeeter Boats will award the winners of the 2004 National Championships two 1790 Skeeter Boats powered by 80 horsepower 4-stroke Yamahas. In addition, the boats are fully rigged with MinnKota
batteries and trolling motors, and with Lowrance Electronics. The National Championships will be held on Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota, Oct. 7-9.
"This is truly exciting news for the teams competing on the Gander Mountain Grand National Walleye Cup circuit. We are looking at a prize package worth $56,000 for the winners including $10,000 in cash. We at the GNWC feel that Skeeter Boats offers some tremendous opportunities for our anglers," said Barringer.
In addition to being the Presenting Sponsor for the National Championship, Skeeter Boats will also be offering "Skeeter Boats Reel Money" to any owner of a Skeeter boat who wins a GNWC tournament while fishing in the Skeeter. Barringer noted, "This owner will be awarded an additional $1000 above their GNWC winnings by Skeeter Boats." Barringer continued, "This type of sponsorship shows the GNWC teams that Skeeter Boats believes in the quality of this circuit and its anglers."
