Mark your calendars.
The 2nd annual Huron, Ohio Athletic Booster Club Fundraiser Walleye Tournament is scheduled for Saturday October 9, 2004. The Huron Boat Basin will host the event again.
Thanks to everyone that helped make the 2003 Huron, Ohio Athletic Boosters Club Tournament a success. We raised over $3700 for the kids in Huron and paid out over $4700 to the competitors in the innagural event in 2003.
Plans are in the works to make the 2004 event bigger and better. Due to the success of last year's event, we hope to be able to raise more in donations this year, and will likely pay more places so we have more winners.
The goal this year is "50/50/$5000"
50+ teams
50+ pound winning weight for 5 walleye
$5000+ to be donated to the Booster Club
Details will be posted on Walleye Central as we get closer.
THANK YOU in advance.

Great Steve, it's on the schedule. If you need help, let me know. I have a thought for you though. How about a chili feed the night before? I could dig up enough people to help with that I think. We could maybe cook right along the river. If we could get some guy's to maybe dedicate their Turkey fryers for the night we could do this easy. I'll bring mine if I can get some more people to dedicate theirs. Let me know what you think.

Trophy,
Thanks for the suggestion and the offer to help. We will stay in touch as the event gets closer. I've been kicking around a decent way to maybe handle some of the registration the night before so we could maybe combine that with your idea.
