Hey guys. Heard there is some fishable ice forming.

The snow the other night is covering the ice pretty well, with most of the deeper Oakland area lakes there was thin ice below it. Myself I would not fish any lake I am not familar with especially alone. Lakes that did have fishable ice over most of it's area would be Oakland, Pontiac Lake, Crystal, Stoney Creek, Long, Big Lake, Little Silver unfortunatly Maceaday, Union, and Cass are still pretty risky if not open in areas. Loon lakes is fishable near the ramp and on the back side. My nephew got his first walleye the other night, all ten icnhes of it! :+
