Does Anyone have any information on the Ice Fishing on Lake Simcoe?

Fish being caught? Contact info? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Rick.

I checked the web and found a site at fishinglakesimcoe.com, but last post on the ice conditions was the 19th - and it was not good.

Talked to a friend today who lives in Virginia beach, all the ice from shore to the islands blew out last week, he says it will take a major cold snap to have safe ice this year.

Just got back last night from Simcoe. The only fishable waters is the southern end of Cook's bay and they are not doing good. If they are catching any they are on the smaller side. We ended up going to a lake just north of Simcoe in Aurillo. Three of us caught our 100 in two days, but also on the smaller size than normal. Good ice, 6", just a bit of a drive.
