Binker,
don't know what the bite is like now but in 6 years fishing fishing a few tournaments there, the shallow stump field to the northeast always holds fish, as does the channel to the northwest called white bluffs? Just ask around when you get there and you'll find enough information to get you going in the right direction. Good Luck. Of all the waters I've fished across the midwest, this is one of my favorites.

so far this year has been very slow. Many people who fish it regual;rly have not been bale to contact fish in their normal spots.
It is going to be a tough weekend for us. But as always someone will bring in abig basket. Hopefully it is me
Good luck to you.

Not sure who is posting under this handle. That would be a very big coincidince since my name is Scott and I use luvtotroll. I have done well on Pettenwell in tournamnets but because of major knee surgery I will not be able to fish this one. Good luck to all.

If you are fishing the stump fiels, bring lots of cranks. You will need them.

Maybe I sent that post when I was heavily drugged and do not remember

So far there has been one registerd post. and he said it was a good lake.
This is one of the best bodys of water in Wisc. but the size average has declined in recent years, it may be due to the pounding it takes weekly,or the lack of control the DNR has over the water heights .

Either way it should turn out to be a great fish.
