I was wondering how the bite went for this tournament and what the winning weight was for walleyes?I wasn't able to make this event and was wondering what I missed.
Thanks!

Winning weight was approx 17.4 (You can weight only 2 fish). They were caught jigging at the mouth of the river. Full of spawn yet. We took 3rd with 16.1 - our fish were done spawning. They never really announced all the weights. Lots of nice fish were caught.

Only 2 teams had trout. 3.? won the trout

We have been going to this benefit tournament for the past 7 years and will continue to do so. The $20,000 that has been generated from over the years for walleye stocking and improvements is really paying dividends. Thanks to everyone and sponsors who put on this tournament. The donuts/coffee for breakfast and the subs for dinner were very tasty. The donated prizes were very nice also.

The Menominee River in the spring has to be one of my favorite places to fish for great big walleyes.
