I've been trying to find a certain tournament shirt. Cabela's has had a couple made up for a couple of the PWT guys. Mike Peluso wears one. I've contacted Cabelas, but without much luck yet, still trying, but thought someone here might know where to find one.

The shirt is black, short sleeve, with a half zipper, and a stand up collar. It is also lined. Anyone ever see such an animal?

Thanks for any help. Tom Howell, NPAA REG. #105

Tom,

Cabela's had these shirts custom made for us. They couldn't find anything "pre-made" that they liked, so I think they actually designed them to their liking, and only had enough made so that each of us received one last year. As far as I know, they can't be purchased anywhere.

Hey Rick,

Thanks very much for the comeback. They are a great looking shirt, sure wish I could find them somewhere. Figures I'd like something you can't purchase. Thanks again, good fishing!

Rick,

Is there a manufacturers name in the collar?
Thanks

Hey Tom,

I never looked for a mfg label on it before, so I just now took it out to see...no luck, there is no label.

I can tell you that Cabela's was looking for the "team" look, so they used a baseball jersey as the basis of the design (that's why our last-names are across the back just like a baseball jersey). I'll bet you could come closer to this type of shirt by browsing catalogs with jerseys for team sports like baseball, than looking at catalogs for fishing "pro shirts".

Good Luck,
Rick
