Was talking with Sonny and they need 2 pro's to fill the field for lake Erie and there are co-anglers on the waiting list.

They have severale co's on the wait list for the League tournament on the river. If they can get 12 boaters it would be a good field, around 90 boats.

unless your "boater" is planing on running to ohio waters, you'll be fishing the detroit river. YES i would expect you to need a canadian lic. there's to many big fish spots in canadian water for most not to fish there as least part of the day. i beleve bottomline tackle did a special run over to canada to get lic for those that needed them friday (registration day) last year and also ran over after registration but that can make for a long night and you might not be that lucky this year.
hope that helps

I think the RCL League is the Detroit River only and only michigan waters. You might want to check-up on this before you do all your prefishing in other waters.

I am not sure of the web site but you can get a Michigan license on line on the DNR site.
