The weather has stirred the water to a froth and it is clearly shown to have effected the weights. With the big girls in the system and improving weather, it still is anyone's game!

Here is the weather forecast:

If one studies these positions, looks like Jay Janny is on the edge of a school of big girls with his nearly 5 pound average. Am anxious to see his weight tomorrow!

Rick,

It sounds odd to me to hear 5 pounders called "big girls" but I guess that's how Erie spoils you! :) You might be onto something, though. If Jay can get those fish to go, or anyone else-for that matter, they could blow right by the guys sitting on the 2 pounders.

Ha!

Actually, there are larger 8 pounders swimming the chain, just not so prevalent as you have in Erie! :-) Your sooooo lucky!

Day 2 weights are coming in very similar to day one weights for the top 30 or so. Some gaining & some losing a little gound. More fish being caught by the low riders of yesterday. Better bite, overall with improved conditions.

One interesting note. Jay janny and Chief Papineau work together.

Jay had those big fish yesterday just not a limit. Today he did better and still had some nice ones in the sack. Look at how chief bounced back with 3 fish over 8 lbs. Think they are fishing the same spot? I would say so. That is where teammates can help each other. One more day like that and Chief will cash a check and Jay might win the whole dang thing.

Cool stuff.

I'd like to see Jim Muzynoski have one more good day , but with the kicker fish he has been missing the first two days... not to mention, we sponsor him :)
Good team there, too. He and Kolinski did well on day 1 and Skarlis (also on the same team) really jumped up on day 2.

Did Plastics start working?...Kuffer had a big basket today after a terrible day 1.

Yep, Jay Janny followed through with larger fish again today. If his pattern stays consistant, he will be tough to beat!

Yuh... that is a pretty good team!
Sure was killer, this tourney... Skarlis, Kolinski, Muzynoski, Olson.
Some pretty big checks there. :)
