TWA...walleye by the boat loads

I know this is short notice, but if any of you walleye guys that live around the Texas panhandle want to fish a fun tournament come fish with us this weekend.You will most definately catch a ton of walleye.The lake is down and you can walk from one side of the lake to the other on the backs of walleye. Well, maybe thats stretching it a little.:)

Texeye is right! There will be lots of walleye caught on Saturday! The size is also much improved1 Seems to be a lot of 17-19" eyes. Hope to see you Saturday!

When and where is the pre-meeting?

Also a note of caution for anyone prefishing-

The area in front of Blue West down to Rattlesnake Island has many EXTREMELY shallow humps - when on plane recommended route is on south side in the channel. (I heard the Park Service found some unmarked humps with their dual motors)

Also from Fritch(Seward) Canyon to the river has midlake humps to beware of.

And many of the coves and canyons are being marked with no wake bouys.

We'll be there, but 17-19" fish is something that I'll have to see. (just kidding) :)

You guys may not recognize the boat without any rod holders, kicker in the air and a Vector 3X on the back to work structure. ;)

Has the trolling bite "turned on" yet?

It doesn't matter what you use.This is the first time we have had a walleye tournament in the middle of the best bite of the year.With the lake being low it is that much better.

Dan is right,there are still tons of fish in the 14" class but there are a bunch in the 16-20 inch range.

Kalin and I have been too busy to pre-fish. We had one evening this week and one last week. We just decided to follow anyone with sun-burned noses.We will see at the pre-meeting who they are.:)
