Hi Folks,
I thought I would take a moment to let my friends in on where I have been. As many of you know I became a member of the Crestliner Pro Staff this year along with several new sponsors, Lowrance, Off Shore Tackle, Minnkota, Trailmaster, Guest Charge Pro, Bait Rigs and my dealer The Navigation Company in Conneaut Lake, Pa. This being my first year out didn't happen due to 5 cervical discs. 2 discs are ruptured and 3 others are compressing a nerve. I have an appt in July for a pre surgery consultation and will let everyone know what is to happen.
In the mean time I have just been taking it easy. I haven't even been in a boat this year. I am about going crazy. Hopefully I will be well enough to attend the fall gathering in Vermilion.
See ya all soon and good luck this season.

I hope your surgery goes well Jim. I know what you're going through, since Rick had to have back surgery on three discs last Fall. Those compressed nerves are a real bummer for sure. :(
Best wishes, and we hope to see you doing better this Fall at the charity tournament. It just wouldn't be the same without you buddy! Get better soon!
You will have your chance next year to show your sponsors what you have to offer. ;-)

Health over anything!!! You can't fish if you can't take the boat ride out!! Hope everything turns out great!!!

Sorry to hear of your injury. Curious about the cause. Car acident? Work injury? or just smashing 4-5 footers in a walleye boat.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're angling for one more sponsor----Glyde Ryde! ;)

Howdy,
I have never had a ride in a boat with a Glyde Ryde seat. My son has and has stated to me that once I did try one I would buy one. With my condition presently I won't be in a boat for awhile but I hope this fall at Vermilion I will be.
One thing about me and sponsors, if I don't believe 100% in the product and use the product, I would never make application to represent the product or company.
I have heard nothing but good about Glyde Ryde. Maybe someone will take me for a ride this fall :-)

I hope all goes well. I had enough back trouble in my younger years to understand the excruciating pain you are getting. I passed out from the pain in public places a couple of times.
Hang in there, Jim.
PS- I probably passed out in public places from feeling NO PAIN , toooo ....when in college.
... another story. :)

Drftr- I've been through back surgery. Your statement indicating "going crazy" is the understatement of the month. Post-surgery, it seems like there is nothing to do except think about what you want to do while you can't do it. Pre-surgery you just wonder "what's gonna happen next". It grinds on your psyche. Immobility is not an outdoorsman's friend. Follow the advice of your doctor. Get a second opinion if you have doubts. Talk to someone who has "been through it". It was the "beenthroughits" that put my mind at ease.
