Bay City should be your first choice, Auburn 2nd, Saginaw 3rd. That is for distance. I am really not sure about about the quality of the rooms. If you are driving from Bay City it is probably about 20 miles and that is quite a drive for an early launch. Saginaw is another 10 miles but I guessing at these estimates.

Here are a couple of motels that some of the MWT teams use when fishing out of Linwood. Huron Trail Motel 989-684-3940, Northland Motel 989-667-0738. These are located in Kawkawlin just south of Linwood. Also Hoyles Marina & Campground has a few rooms to rent 989-697-4415

I am not fishing the tournament but am very excited to see it come back to Saginaw Bay. Looking forward to the whole event and hopefully meeting some of the MWC'ers. Looks like a pretty good turn out so far with entries. Hope it is a real success as the MWC people put a lot of time, effort, into planning these tournaments.
