There is a leaderboard for the PWT event on Lake Erie...it's linked to the PWT leaderboard from liveleaderboard.com

How many leaderboards do we need for one tournament?

I guess I thought the intention was to get the results to the public as quick as possible... that is why I started the very first Live Leaderboard.

Now there are several leaderboards at every event... is that really necessary or are you just looking for the scores?

Am I missing something here?

I realize that it is linked to in-fisherman site. What I was wondering is why is the walleye central crew there taking pictures and stuff? I like looking at the pics from all the major tourneys and I cant seem to find any other place to browse pics except for the live leaderboard here on wc.

Scott,
you have done a great job with the leaderboard!!!! Don't let a few cry nanies make you think anything else!!!!!!!! keep up the good work...... Some people won't be happy no matter what you do for them... You know the welfare mentality of some people.....

I dont know who you are calling a cry nanie, but it certainly isnt me. I appreciate the leaderboard and pictures, as fas as I know this is the only place that has decent pics from the big events. I was just dissapointed when I clicked on the leaderboard and it said that WC will not be covering this event (Erie PWT). But if there are going to be pictures coming I will wait patiently.

All you had to do was click on results and the leader board is up and running.....in fact it was alot faster than the normal leader board.......cause it was straight from the pwt trailer.......

PWT black eye:

When In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail officials canceled the final day of their Cleveland walleye tournament on Friday they left walleye fans who were coming to the 3 p.m. weigh-in and 6 p.m. awards ceremony in a lurch. The PWT hastily organized a 10 a.m. awards ceremony for the top 40 pro and amateur anglers and then packed their bags and left town.

Fishermen arriving at Voinovich Park on Friday afternoon for the scheduled activities found a shuttered PWT trailer and no walleye fishing boats or pro anglers. It wouldn't have been too hard to have the top tournament anglers hang around as scheduled to entertain their fans. The sunny weather was perfect for a fishing show even though the big lake was rocking from high winds.

i dont know if you were there or not but each day only had 30 people watching the weigh in anyways...most of them were family of co anglers after they had weighed in....it was a very bad turn out for spectators.

The anglers were happy to get out of there early so they could return home to their families whuch they havent seen in over a week. It would have been a long day for those guys to sit around and do nothing until 6:00.

I beg to differ with you on the no boats or pros around the site.

Ipersonally sat in the boat yard for over three hours visiting with the many spectators that came to see a show. I showed them presentations and even gave GPS numbers along with fellow pro Jim Carroll.

The PWT, I am sure did all they could to get the word out, but how can you when dealing with that many people, make sure every one knows about the cancellation?

I hope all of those I spoke to felt that it was not a waste of time. I know I didn't have a live well full of fish to show off, but I think they learned more about what is happening in the central basin than they may have from watching the weigh in.

Special thanks to all the volunteers and the fish cleaning group from the steel headers association. Great job!!!

You and Jim C. went above and beyond the normally expected routine by staying and talking to people. You guys should both be commended on representing the finest of ideals in Professional Fishing. I hope your sponsors are able to find out this information but I doubt you only did it for personal gain. Your reputations for being helpful to others precedes this event and you have only re-inforced your reputations as being great individuals. Congratulations and Good Job. I didn't look at where you guys finished but I hope you both cashed a check. Keep up the good work.
