The schedule looks great. It will be nice to have the east wrapped up in July. Can't wait.
Thanks MWC.

MWC Central
March 19 & 20 -- Spring Valley, Illinois (Illinois River)
June 25 & 26 -- Oshkosh, Wisconsin (Lake Winnebago)
July 16 & 17 -- Menominee, Michigan (Bay of Green Bay)
MWC East
April 23 & 24 -- Trenton, Michigan (Detroit River & Lake Erie-OH Borders)
May 21 & 22 -- Henderson Harbor, New York (Lake Ontario)
August 19, 20 & 21 -- Dunkirk, New York (Lake Erie) We are planning a Fri/Sat/Sun tournament schedule; but only a two-day tournament. If we get Fri/Sat in -- great. Fri/Sun -- okay. Sat/Sun okay. Just anticipating that we need to be ready for Lk Erie's blow. Rules meeting would be Thursday night for this tournament only.
Championship: September 28 - October 1st, 2005 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin (Mississippi River Pools 9 & 10)
QUESTION -
For the April 23, 24 event out of Trenton, Michigan - Does this mean that Ohio Waters of Lake Erie are able to be fished in the tournament?
Thanks,
Steve

Kaz, my partner and I are looking forward to the East Division next year. Participating in the Chatauqua event this year, and seeing what a great job you and Kristine do was enough to convince me that I need to do the entire division next year.
Hopefully everyone that participated this year can get someone new to join next year and make the East as big as the Central.
thanks for all your (and Kristine's) hard work.

Yes they do work hard and can imagine this job is not very easy attempting to keep all their customers happy!
Sure do like how these people stress (stress might be a weak description) sportsmanship.

I'm a little confused about a couple things. Are the tournaments that took place this summer, qualifying for a championship next October? Last summers tourneys qualified for the championship this october? That seems to be the case and was just curious why it is that way.
Also, I don't understand "challenge Points". Can I get a simplified explanation of this.
I fished the winnebago event and enjoyed it. Well run tournament with a nice payout.

Yes, teams fishing this year are trying to qualify for the 2005 fall championship. In the past, this is the way sponsors and teams wanted it setup. The Challenge point system can be confusing but is fair. If you haven't already done so, go to the MWC website bulletin board where Kristine Houtman has posted an explanation of the Challenge points system (www.masterswalleyecircuit.com). Thanks for your kind words and supporting the MWC........."Kaz"

We are excited about the '05 season. Expecting a strong MWC Central and really nice growth for next year with MWC East.
I'm onsite for a golf tournament at Pebble Beach this week -- but will be back in the office next week. (most of you know we run golf tournaments AND fishing tournaments???)
Anyway -- didn't want to "not" chime in with my 2 cents on the thumbs up to the MWC anglers for helping to keep the MWC so strong.

We've been advised per the Michigan DNR, that Michigan Lake Erie waters are closed to walleye fishing in April....."Kaz"
