View Full Version : Pros - Where are you going to fish?
All the information is finally out on the PWT & the FLW. Curious to see after reading the information on both circuits where the pros that frequent this site will be fishing in 2005. One circuit? Both?
Thanks for your responses! I am trying to decide where I want to fish in 2005 as well!!

I was just looking at the application for the PWT. I don't see anywhere how much the entry fee is or the paybacks. Last year they never put it out until just before the first event. That seems kind of funny to me. Are they waiting for that "BIG NEW SPONSOR" again. The money on the FLW Walleye tour is way better. I run a Lund and am switching motors this year to Yamaha, because of the paybacks on the FLW.

Sorry I forgot to add that I fished the East Div. of the PWT last year for ten spots to make the Championship. That was 1 in 7 that made the ride. This year I plan on fishing all four FLW's. 50 guys make it to the championship. If they fill the fields with people that fish them all thats 1 - 3. I'm sure theres going to be some fishing only one or two tournaments, which makes my chances even better of qualifing for the Championship

You may get better response by asking Ranger owners which circuit they are fishing.
With zero Minnesota MWC presence you may see more of these Ranger owners opting for the FLW format, motors may play a role in this decision.
For most it doesn't seem to be a question, either way. Fishermen are pretty divided about this topic.
