Just wanted to point out that the WBSA is going to offer two divisions. One will be a two person "championship" division with a season points champion crowned and the other will be more of an "open" division for those that want to fish with more than two people with a format similar to the Huron Hawg Fest and the Huron Schools Athletic Booster Club tournaments from 2004. Details are on the WBSA website. 80+% payout.

FreeByrd, are you guys still gonna fish the WWA tournys or is this tour taking over? Was planning on fishing 1 or 2 of the WWA but might just fish the WBSA tourneys instead.
Thanks Lenny

Lenny,
A couple of the guys mentioned they may fish WWA too. There's more options on Erie this year than ever before for tourneys. Gonna be some choosing to do for sure. We put a lot of effort into trying to put something together that would draw more boats and in our short span of operation I think it's clicking pretty good. Hope to see you at PC for the first one!

Just for the record i know i was a little harsh in the way i worded my previous post about the wbsa and the wwa for that i apoligize for i was just trying to promote our new series and I was to my knowledge that no one I knew was going to do the wwa this year I'm sure there will be a few. I like Steve and Jeff alot I know them personally and they are great guys and anglers. Why the wwa has not taken off in Ohio can only be answered by the people that did do them and didnt do them. Attendace at the tourney last year were meager no matter how hard steve and jeff tried to get people it did not work, hopefully for the wwa they can turn that around i wish them all the best and im sure ill see them around good luck guys gary blue dolphin 2
