Just a question... How come you see so many FLW pros asking for co-anlgers or co-anglers trying to get pros to go to tourneys and you never see any PWT Pros asking. Do they do things differently in the two circuits?

Just asking

Most Pro's are just looking for someone to sign up with to get in the tournament.Living in the rural area's makes it hard to find people to sign up.So forum's such as this one help's people like me find partner's.I dont think it matter's what circut you fish on for the availability of ammature's.I know from the past RCL League Tournaments that their was usally around 10 extra ammature's waiting to get signed up the last day of registration. It just makes it easier to get signed up early so you can be better prepaired.

FLW PRO and CO anglers that register with a counterpart get the highest level of priority. This gaurentees each of their spots in the tourney, keeping them off the waiting list. When an uneven number of PRO's and CO's exists, some one sits on the side lines and watches. The PWT has different rules regaurding uneven numbers which provide all PRO's the chance to fish.

For information on the PWT and how amateurs participate with THREE different pros at each event, not just one... see www.professionalwalleyetrail.com Simply put When I was an amateur I registered for a single event and went to the rules meeting where they paired me with three different pros. Each day's weight was given to me for a three day total with three different guys.

At all FLW events you will also have a different pro each day.Signing up with a pro is only on paper in order for the FLW to have a equal number of pro/co-anglers entered for events. You may never even meet the pro let alone fish the tournament with them.Odds are better with the lottery, than being randomly assigned with the pro you signed up with to enter.
