Participants in the 2005 PWT

Hello. I am thinking of going to Mobridge or Sault St Marie as an amateur. I am mainly a jigger and wanted some ideas to which location would be more of that kind of fishing. Is anyone from the Chicago area also going to these locations..hello Mike Gofron? Carpool maybe? Are there any pros that want a partner to do prefishing with? Thanks

Tony, if you like to jig, you should go to one of the tournaments where jigging won't get it done. You will learn new things, by going someplace where trolling is going to be the thing.

I had thought about that but right now I would like to gain more knowledge with the jigs and rigs. I only fish a few weeks in northern Wisconsin and those lakes have no trolling. If I would go to a 2nd PWT I would try to find waters with trolling tactics. I am thinking about buying a boat so I can get more experience with a variety of styles. But I do understand your position. Thanks.
